Matrix Research Limited is a fully Canadian-owned Marketing Research and Intelligence Association's (MRIA) Founding Gold Seal Corporate Research Agency. It’s been in business since 1990, incorporated in 1993.

We are winners of MRIA’s Excellence Behind the Scenes Award for "Consistent superb client service and technical expertise in data collection and data manipulation work".

Matrix Research has an experienced team of market research and IT professionals. The newest technology is utilized to collect and analyze information quickly and cost-effectively. Our research staff have had many years of experience in the fields of survey research, interviewing, questionnaire processing, programming and computer analysis. The IT team consists of experienced web, data manipulation, reporting and scanner technology programmers. Our clients include marketing and management consultants, advertising agencies, other market research firms, manufacturers, retailers, financial institutions and associations.

Our full-time Field Manager has been working in the industry for 10 years, several of those in a call-center managerial position with a multi-national research firm. Our full and part-time Field Supervisors have had many years of experience supervising quantitative data collection and recruiting for group discussions. We have experienced teams of interviewers who conduct surveys and recruit participants for groups in many – most often Asian – languages. Over the past several years, Ethnic Interviewing has become our specialty.

We have, of course, been programming, hosting and reporting on customized online surveys, mostly with captive audiences (such as employee, multi-rater and membership surveys) for many years.

The Senior Management of the company consists of:

President and Founder: Alec Svoboda, M.Ed., CMRP (Certified Marketing Research Professional), 25+ year member and past Board member of PMRS (Professional Marketing Research Society) / MRIA, 35 years of experience in survey research in Canada.
Executive Vice-President: Vera Korinek, Honours B.Sc., Computer Science, MRIA member, 28 years of experience in IT and project management, most recently as AVP in charge of Quality Assurance at a major Canadian insurance company, 6 years with Matrix Research with overall responsibility for all major projects.
VP Information Technology: Karel Ferus, B.Sc., Computer Science, over 20 years of IT managerial positions with a multi-national communications firm, 15 years with Matrix Research, overall responsible for all data processing and communication technology, including hardware and software solutions.
