We are very proud that our organization, Matrix Research Limited, received the 2005 MRIA “Excellence Behind the Scenes” Award.

L to R: Alain Choiniere, MRIA VP, Industry and Government Relations; Vera Korinek, Executive VP Matrix Research, award winner; Gil Rinaldi, The Advantage Group, client organization which nominated Matrix Research for the award.

Two short excerpts (Reasons for Nomination and Summary) from the nomination document:

Reason for Nomination:
Consistent superb client service and technical expertise in data collection and data manipulation work, plus generating a high volume of very complicated customized reports in a short time, culminating, in 2004, with a series of reports for the Canadian Grocery Monitor, a project comprised of over 20,000 complex “major” charts (plus over 140,000 preliminary pages of output) produced in a matter of weeks.

Summary:
The Performance Monitors have been a great success with manufacturers. Over the past few years, The Advantage Group has increased their number, included new industries, and new Monitors are being introduced in 2005. All this was, to a large degree, made possible by the superb performance of Matrix Research with its activities “behind the scenes”. The challenges with which The Advantage Group presented Matrix Research in 2004 were difficult and numerous. They were all met and the performance expectations clearly exceeded. The 2004 Canadian Performance Monitor is a shining example of a large and complex research project which “went terribly right”. Matrix Research Limited will be a worthy recipient of the 2005 Excellence behind the Scenes award.

Wouldn’t it be great if YOUR projects went terribly right?
