Matrix Research is a primary research data collection and computer analysis company. The core of our business consists of the following activities:
  • conducting online (web-based) surveys with captive audiences (employees, memberships), such as 360-degree evaluations, climate surveys; on-going and tracking measurements
  • conducting CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing) surveys, but also in-person, such as on-site, as well as self-administered mail, e-mail, and fax surveys
  • recruiting participants for focus groups and product tests (usually “ethnic” audiences)
  • In-store or Mall Intercept interviewing (usually “ethnic” respondents)
  • computer analysis (tabulation) of data – usually, but not always, collected through surveys and from other documents or files
  • producing print-outs, including presentation charts, which summarize and interpret information (e.g., survey results) in tabular or graphical format
  • processing of documents – typically coding and data entry work, or generating computerized databases from paper documents by scanning; image capture (for archiving) using a scanner
  • updating databases – contacting companies and obtaining information missing from their listings, correcting errors or evaluating the accuracy of the listed information
